Happy (Early) 4th of July!

June is a month that is full of many different activities. It is the beginning of summer vacation for kids getting out of school. The longest day of the year is toward the second half of June. The summer camps are beginning to ramp up, and get ready for fun adventures. Some families are taking their vacation time, and they are going out on adventures in another state or country. Many things happen in June, but there is something to be aware of among the excitement & chaos.

June is not only filled with opportunities to make summertime memories, but it is also National Fireworks Safety Month. This is a perfect opportunity to prepare for the holiday coming up on July 4th and all of its festivities.

Spending time with family is so special, and we hope that your summer is full of that time! Whether you are having family over, or you are going to another home, we hope that you enjoy that time together. Life is so short, and it can change in an instant. Our encouragement to you is to not allow lack of safety to be that reason for instant change.

In order to maintain the highest level of safety and remove yourself from the liability of handling fireworks, the best alternative might be to enjoy a display supported by your local community. For example, in years past, the city of Mishawaka has put on a GREAT fireworks show near the Riverwalk parks downtown. It is a free show for the community, and it is such a fun atmosphere to surround yourselves and your families with.

We just care about you, so we wanted to encourage an extra amount of safety as the holiday is right around the corner. Take extra precautions, and just enjoy every moment with family and friends.

Happy 4th of July, and God Bless America!

Summer is finally here!!

I don’t know about you, but summer is my favorite. Hanging with my family and friends, golfing, boating, camp fires, cookouts and all the other fun stuff that goes along with being outside and enjoying God’s creation.

Summer is also a great time to intentionally slow down a bit, just long enough to take notice and give thanks for the blessings all around us. It’s amazing how – when we actually take time to pause for a moment, we realize that there is so much to be thankful for. We just have to be willing to take that pause. As they say, “stop and smell the roses.”      Please be safe this summer as you take time to enjoy your family, friends and all the activities that make great memories along this journey. We here at Synergy appreciate you and look forward to seeing you again soon. If you are close, stop by for a cup of coffee!
