Hi friends! Happy March! Hang in there, spring is coming! Promise. Well, almost. We will just have to see!
We live in a time where the world is constantly evolving. Traditions shift quickly, and what felt standard fifteen years ago looks completely different today. These changes can feel uncertain and confusing, yet also hopeful and full of possibility. As technology and daily life continue to intertwine, it’s natural to wonder how to find balance. How do we navigate these shifts? How do we honor what we’ve known while adapting to what’s new? Do we adjust, resist, or find a steady middle ground that keeps life from feeling like the Tower of Terror roller coaster?
Our answer here at Synergy: ABSOLUTELY! Change can feel overwhelming, but it can also be manageable and even empowering with the right support. We all seek clarity, order, and accuracy, while also valuing care, kindness, and the occasional moment of laughter. Our team’s goal is to walk alongside you—our clients and extended family—as trusted partners in this journey. To do that well, we work best when we work together.
The insurance carrier’s responsibility. The insurance carrier partners with our agency and you, our client partner, in bearing financial risk, underwriting and issuing policies, and managing any potential claims. They work within the laws of our state to set coverages and then work to maintain those coverages should a claim ever arise. Their job is also to ensure that what and who they are ensuring, uphold the guidelines agreed to.
Our responsibility as the agency.
Synergy serves as your partner and the bridge between you and your insurance carrier. Our licensed agents train extensively with multiple carriers to understand available coverages, state regulations, and quickly evolving guidelines. With years of experience under our belts, we aim to offer clear, thoughtful guidance on the carriers and coverages that best fit your needs based on the information you share with us.
We are here to help answer questions, identify potential or existing risks, and communicate important updates from your insurance carrier. This may include confirming who lives in your home, noting updates to your property, or coordinating photo inspections when required. Any outreach from our agency is intended to support and help you to ensure your coverage remains accurate and effective.
Your responsibility as the insured. We’re grateful you’ve chosen to place your trust in us, and we value the trust you place in this partnership! To keep everything running smoothly and efficiently, we ask that you help us and the insurance carrier in the following ways:
-
Providing accurate and complete information during the application process and whenever updates occur. This includes accurate phone numbers and/or emails to contact you.
-
Sharing changes promptly, such as home updates, vehicle changes, billing updates, address changes, or adding household members or drivers.
-
Paying premiums on time to avoid lapses in coverage. If financial challenges arise, please reach out—we’re here to help you navigate options with the carrier if they are available.
-
Reviewing all documents sent by your carrier or our agency. If anything looks incorrect or unclear, let us know so we can address it together. We know that you are sent countless emails and/or mailings, but it will help you immensely to stay on top of all agency and carrier correspondence.
-
Following policy conditions outlined by your carrier. This may include completing inspections or providing additional information after a claim. We’ll guide you through each step.
