I don’t know about you, but sometimes life comes at me a million miles a minute and I’m fighting to keep up. Work, meetings, working out, brunch with friends, church, nurturing my marriage, and trying to rest seems like a full time job within itself. Now please hear me, I’m super grateful and blessed by all these things. They bring joy, laughter and beautiful memories. But if there’s anything I’ve learned this past year, life is short. I’m not guaranteed tomorrow. I’m not guaranteed anything honestly. And while life moves at such a fast pace, I don’t want to move so fast I miss preparing for my future. I don’t want to move so fast that I don’t make time for what’s important. I want to make sure my family is taken care of whenever I’m no longer here. And while I can’t prepare or plan for everything, especially unknowns, I can know with confidence and peace they are taken care of financially by putting the right pieces in place. Wills, trusts, and other documents will assist, but one of the biggest ways I can take care of them is through life insurance.
September is life insurance awareness month. Yeah, yeah Jess. You’re young. Simmer. Don’t stress. I’m not stressed, but I am realistic.
