2080…That is 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. Whether you are leading a company, a non-profit, a ministry or a department, this is the time you have to make a difference in your organization.
How much of that time do you spend working “on” the business as opposed to “in” the business. Can you even afford to take time away from the day-to-day to plan and work “on” the business. I would suggest that you cannot afford not to do it.
In my business, we have a cadence that is on purpose and planned for. This cadence includes weekly, quarterly and annual focused time to help us be intentional and ultimately, more effective. This time throughout the year amounts to about 5% of the time of my leadership team. This is a small price to pay for the gains that we have made. The 5% has produced an exponential return to our business by helping our team stay focused on what is really important. Our cadence is often enough that we don’t stray from our mission, and we can track progress on a regular basis. We are at the point where we cannot afford to not invest the 5%.
Are you achieving all of your business and personal goals? Are you spending time On Purpose working “on” your business? If not, I can help you with that. Let’s connect and see what your organization is capable of. 5% is a little hinge that swings BIG doors.
